Since the accountant has been working long hard hours during this busy tax season meat has been his vegetable of choice, along with healthy (for the most part) carbohydrates. Friday nights dinner was about as meaty as you can get. I must say little Olivia is a carnivore. She could not get enough of the dish! So here is what you will need.
Ingredients:2 Tablespoons of organic extra virgin coconut oil
2 pounds of organic grass fed beef
1 whole yellow onion, diced
1.5 cups of organic ketchup
2 teaspoons of mustard
4 teaspoons of garlic powder
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons of black pepper
Directions:
Brown the meat and onion.
Baby would not let me put her down tonight....
Add all the remaining ingredients. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes on low.
" Really mom...you had to put me down?"
Serve on homemade hamburger buns! Needless to say there were lots of leftovers. I had enough for lunch for the accountant and a Sloppy Joe salad for me!
Inspired by a recipe from heavenly homemakers
